TennoCon 2020 Update

Our TennoCon 2020 Digital Event is moving to August 1!

This year has seen more change than a Tenno perfecting their Fashion Frame. Our fifth TennoCon went from a physical event to a fully Digital event, and now we’re going one step further and moving the date. Find out all about these changes from our Creative Director, Steve Sinclair.

Having played for a long time, I only play occasionally now, but the work done on deadlock is superb. I'm always excited to see what you guys will do next, and am greatly looking forward to August.

Those are some bold words, and I like that. I assume this means it'll be the quality shown and released quickly after. Unlike past showcases, where they dropped the content in a less than stellar state and up to months after it was first demo'd. I love this game, and I hope you can make me love the game the way I used to. I want to get hyped and excited when I see new updates, and I want to be playing as soon as I can. Nowadays, I don't have the motivation to even launch the game, let alone play it. I will boot it up for Deadlock though, it seems promising.

In all seriousness though, the fact that Steve made an apology video for DE having to delay Tennocon by only 3 weeks really does show the dedication and love for the players everyone at DE has.
if you're reading this (which I doubt) thankyou Steve for putting in the time to tell us about this delay.

I think we're all in agreement for the excitement of "shipping what we show" and if you guys need to delay for making the most out of this annual event. 100% understand, keep working hard and being safe!

This is what I miss about DE lately the transparency and the clear conversation we were used to over the years... take your time in making the game awesome and I will be there to play the content everytime.

Thank you Steve and DE! Moving the date is fine especially since we're mostly stuck at home anyway. And having it "ship what we show" will allow you to avoid the fiasco of Railjack and Liches I think. Always good to actually advertise the product and not what you want it to be ideally (and if it is, need to made clear before release).

Honestly guys, The Deadlock Protocol has been one of my favorite updates in a while. It has everything I want from a Warframe update (except for one thing, cinematic quests) new place to explore, new quest, warframe, weapons and some awesome lore and super interesting new characters! Love it guys, take all the time you need to release stuff. I've been playing for well over 5 years and I'd love to be playing for at least 5 more. Thanks team :) love your work.

Steve, devs, comment crawlers, I appreciate all of you and thank you for the awesome content.
Personally, I didn't have fun with the quest. I got knocked hard, but eventually won a 45 minute battle against Protea. That's fine though. It must have been made with a different kind of player in mind, and everybody should have something they like.
I've been enjoying Happy Zephyr these past few days. Thinking of doing that mining nightwave challenge in the Plains.
But yeah, the new looks is fancy. Everything's fine. This update wasn't for me, but I can tell other people are having fun with it; good job.
