This Burley Travoy bike trailer offers a lot of what I have been looking for in a bike trailer that can easily be used for bike commuting, grocery shopping, etc, and, very importantly, can be easily stored away when not in use.

This cargo trailer does all those things very well. It hitches quite easily to the seatpost rather than down low at the axle. Something that I think is great. The design of the Travoy also means that it shortens the wheelbase significantly making riding a little more care free.

With a payload capacity of sixty pounds, it is more than adequate for carrying quite a lot of groceries.

To me, this is one of the best RadRover aftermarket accessories I have purchased to make the bike even more useful.

Not been able to clip on the Tote bag is a nuisance. Tried to get the plastic triangular clips (Swivel Lock Buckles) but no joy from Burley who would not even give me their suppliers info. Bought a Qeedo bag. Asked them for info on the clips... I was referred to Burley.
Do you have information on the clips, ? My internet search has turned up nothing.
No rear light supplied in UK.
But I do like it a lot. Pity webbing straps cannot be lashed anywhere to the side rails though.

I like the telescoping arm. I have the older version of the Travoy, it's been a CHAMP. I can't put the hitch on my seatpost, I had to purchase the kit to affix it to the front of my bike rack due to the length of my bike rack didn't permit clearance. They've taken an excellent design and improved on it further with the telescopic arm, improved hitch, and kickstand.

Travoy makes 16" fat tires for their other cargo carriers.... Wonder if they would fit the Travoy for use on the beach. I'm a fisherman and like to fish from beaches and jetties.

Thanks for the video. So, I am wondering if you had to Jerry rig the rack when you lowered it or if you simply lowered it as it is meant to be done. I've lowered it about an inch using the sliders and that's as far as it will go. It still doesn't give me quite enough room between the top of the rack and where I would attach the trailer to my seat post. THAT being said. I am only 5'8". Did I hear you say, you're 6'8"? You have a lot more exposed real estate on your seat post then. So more wiggle room so to speak. Just trying to figure out a way to make the trailer fit without having to change racks. Like you say, the bracket you can buy still won't work because of the way the Ibera rack flips up at the end. For now, my daughter has a mini step-thru so I'll use her bike if I need to use the trailer - there's that option. But I have not given up yet! :)

Good review on the trailer. I have been considering one of these. But quit pretending you’re a cyclist, or get an actual bicycle, ditch the scooter/electric motorcycle, or at least quit calling it a bicycle. Those of us who actually pedal our bikes will appreciate it. Thanks!
