De-colonising Nottingham University (the banning of Anglo-Saxon) - DrSophieLBennett

Can we still use Anglo-Saxon swear words?
The news reaches me that Nottingham University, infested by right-on, right-thinking 'wokery' now it seems, is to ban the use of the term 'Anglo-Saxon' because of some putative fascist associations. And is also sceptical of Vikings. Apparently, the technical term is 'de-colonising' as if the Anglo-Saxons were some sort of parasite, even if they probably carried plenty of them. (I'm not so sure of Anglo-Saxon hygiene but someone from that academic community, which might be holding its head in its hands at the moment, could enlighten.)
If you wish for open discussions on any academic subject, I suggest you avoid large parts of the East Midlands now. No longer involved in academe (I wouldn't last long in any case, these days), I'll still be using Anglo-Saxon swear words liberally until someone arrests me for having a potty mouth: what a fucking shitty, pissy, arse-faced decision, Nottingham University - thank-fucking-goodness I didn't go to you for my PGCE.
What's more I'd really like to burn smartphones on a huge pyre - the modern day equivalent of book-burning. Does saying that make me a 'Nazi'? A Fascist. A word they should also ban, just to be fair, even if its origins are in National SOCIALISM and a WORKERS' party (NSDAP). Ignorant fucking tossers. To use at least one Anglo-Saxonism. And in using those - does that make me an extremist who needs de-colonising?
