I just liked that they leaned more into the detective side of batman, showcasing that he's more than just a guy who can punch stuff and throw money around. Not my favorite Batman movie, but absolutely my favorite Batman

I totally agree, I've never thought of batman as hero a "hero". He's not. Sure he's a "vigilante", but the only reason he's not a villain is because he kills the people that are (somehow) worse than him. He doesn't care about the law, puts civilians in danger, and only uses his "power" for his own benefit. Bit somehow he's still a hero, he's inspiring. He's cliche but original at the same time. He's just a good character.
