Really liking this deck, been looking around for a more budget friendly Xyris deck.
And slowly adding/removing some cards here and there from packs I opened from the Final fantasy set.

Its a really nice base to work from and give it my own twist here and there.
Also like how you gave suggestions to add that were for now outside the budget and are also interesting to work my way towards over time if I decide to stick to this deck.

Stopped playing mtg 10-11 years ago after dipping my toes into the game due to not having much free time. But with the FF set I decided to dive back into it again.
Going to swoop by my LGS later today to see how the commander scene is with deck tier. And really hope this deck fits right in, just having this much interaction with other players just seems so nice and a great way to break the ice for me :p

Red death shipwrecker is a fun include in this deck. Mix that with intruder alarm and your commander and you have a win con where your opponents draw their decks out. I also put cryptolith rites and other cards like that to use the snake tokens as mana.
