I think Motörhead is the perfect example. Their first album maybe wasn’t QUITE as consistently fast as they would get later, but their sound was pretty consistent, and they’re one of the all-time greats.

AC/DC is the definition of straight rock and roll, you know what you’re getting and it’s excellent.

AC/DC are the definition of rock and it's unfathomable that nearly 50 years has passed and the band is still going strong despite losing a singer, fluctuating lineup, and the death of founding member and leader Malcolm Young. RIP Bon and Malcolm.

Rise Against is a really solid example I hadn't thought of. They definitely try new things, but their general mantra has always been the same

I'll say it: Breaking Benjamin would be my pick. I still think their music is solid and Ben Burnley is a great vocalist (Apologies to Crash). I can understand if people might get tired of their formula, but I still haven't. Solid video as always my man!

Sevendust is just an amazing band that was criminally underrated by the main stream.

Motorhead is a perfect example of a band that never changed their sound and put out consistantlly great albums.

Nice to see the love for Cannibal Corpse and Amon Amarth. Two of my favorite bands.

Three bands that come to mind that weren't mentioned are Chevelle, Seether, and Breaking Benjamin. Their respective styles have been pretty consistent since the early 2000s, not really a bad thing, I think they all still sound good.

Also btw, congrats on getting married!

Volbeat's "Don't Tread on Me" cover is so damn good that if you didn't know that it was a Metallica song from before, you'd assume it was an original Volbeat song. I absolutely love covers like that.

Just wanna say here: Congrats to you, Luke, and Gretchen. I hope you live a happy life together.

Ok, but, now I WANT to hear Cannibal Corpse's take on soft adult contemporary 😂😂

Volbeat is one of the cleanest sounding live bands I've ever seen. Great, great show.

Another band to add to this list is TESTAMENT!! They've always stayed consistently heavy and fresh!

I saw SevenDust earlier this year for their Animosity anniversary tour, they’re awesome live. I even met LaJon after the show (and sang one of the band’s songs to him), he was terrific to everyone there.
Also, if you haven’t heard of the band Burden of the Sky, check them out! They were one of the openers (along with NonPoint and BASTARDANE), and they’re REALLY good!

I know Ratm only released 4 albums, but in the decade they existed their sound never changed. The hip hop inspired lyrics, hard rock guitar, bass boosting bass and the driving powerful drums proved that they could make their sound work and work well

Sevendust deserves so much love. Been a fan since 2008.

So many great bands out there. 311 gets my vote. Going strong and consistent since 1988. Original lineup as well!

While they remain one of the most polarizing bands in existence, Nickleback has remained true to their sound and sales, downloads and views prove it still works.

And Volbeat might be the most underrated band still playing
