Respect to him respecting competition. I used to hate Michael Cole so much, it took me years to realize he was just good at his job! Honestly my opinion of him changed the day Jerry Lawler had his heart attack live on RAW, How he handled the situation made me really respect that. Also knowing what we know now about how much he had to keep his composure with Vince McMahon screaming in his ear, all those clips just added to my respect.

Say what you want about AEW, they are trying to take on a Giant, and have a ways to go but they are not minor leagues by any stretch...if you can outbid WWE on talent, are on a major network, can do million dollar gates...they are not minor leagues....the other note I will take from Michael Cole here is that they never considered TNA as anything lol

Cole is great. Once vince got out of his ear, and on those rare occasions in the past where vince was not around (eg nxt uk tourney) Cole has shown just what a great play by play man he is

I like the AEW product more than WWE, but I'm happy that WWE still exists cuz it gives AEW something to strive to beat. And if AEW ever becomes the #1 somehow, then I still want WWE around helping the wrestling community grow. And both organizations existing gives more room for talent to get paid, and more room for them to find success.
