My trial starts next week and I’m absolutely not confident and my lawyer is fairly MIA.

So, I came here - and my jaw dropped because heeeyyyy, from Santa Rosa! Awesome seeing the snow. 💕

Hey, my lawyer filed my lawsuit in a federal court, but he hasn't told me how much he is asking for. Is he supposed to put in a value amount they're suing for? I'm just wondering here, because the trucks insurance minimum was pretty high (like $7 million bucks) do they usually sue for the limit of the trucks insurance? And my insurance company has been paying out a lot for my surgeries and doctors appointments, is that included in the amount they ask for? The point is, I wasn't at fault, have dashcam footage, truck driver was ticketed, my car was totalled, and I had severe pain and ended up having surgery on my neck, a number of injections, physical therapy, the works. Let me know what to expect. The initial conference is coming up very very soon.
Anyway, main question: is my lawyer supposed to declare an amount sued for. And do my medical bills come out of the entire payout amount m
