If New York really wants to be champions, they need to start by firing this guy and Cashman and rebuilding the entire organization. They used a player who hadn't pitched in a month in a high-leverage situation, the third base coach made a mistake that everyone knew would happen, the main starting player played sloppily in a game that would mean they were eliminated, and there are many things rotten about this organization. In order to heal and get better, you have to heal what's wrong before you can move forward. Leaving the illness untreated will not improve and will only get worse.

Seems as if the Yankees got a bit too relaxed and lost FOCUS for a few minutes.
And started making mistakes. You can't do stuff like that against the Dodgers.
You got to keep the pressure.

You are who you are especially when the lights shine the brightest. Yankees just ran into a buzzsaw in the Dodgers who play better all-around and fundamental baseball. They were still able to win even while missing an entire pitching rotation ravaged by injury, winning two 7 game series with only 3 starting pitchers, their superstar with one shoulder, another with a bum ankle, etc. Dodgers were clearly the best team this year with the toughest mental fortitude.

As a Dodger fan i believe they were the better team yeah 5th was ugly for the Yankees but they were good enough to beat everyone else and get to the world series props to the Yankees. the Dodgers were just better this year i would have loved a game 7 in los angeles !!!! the bigger stain is the 2 fans who tried to take the ball from mookie betts ..they could of hurt him pulling his arm and wrist . NY has great fans just not those 2 and we have great fans just not the ones who threw things at padres outfielder. I hope LA and NY play again and it goes 7 games. such 2 great teams for the fall classic
