I have to disagree about jersey, there is nothing nicer than a silk jersey, and cotton, cashmere, merino wool, linen, lyocell and other high-quality viscose jerseys are nice, too. Technically, all jerseys are just knitted fabrics, any fiber can be used. I do avoid jerseys/knits made from synthetic fibers, though, they look cheap and feel horrible.

Thank you so much for posting this video! It's going to sound silly but I realized a few years ago that how I styled my hair changed how people behaved around me. If I tied my hair in a couple of ponytails, it kept the hair out of my face (and this was in a trades job where I was working mostly with men) I started to notice that if my hair was this way I was left out of conversations or ignored when I spoke. If my hair was tied back in a bun or simply long, suddenly I was treated with respect again. I'm now on a mission to improve my appearance in other ways to reflect the level of success I've achieved in my career. It seems that even if my profession is related to sports, going about my daily business in sportswear all the time has resulted in a lot of people mistaking me for a student and sometimes flat out not believing me when I answer the question "what do you do?" This is my first step in trying to figure out why it is that I can't seem to find a way to look posh. When I was a child my father was a country mouse and my mother was a ballet dancer and now I'm 38 and I always look like I'm about to play football or go to the opera. I really appreciate the fact that so many experts such as yourself are going online and trying to help people. Cheers!
