Bruhhh I can’t imagine what it must have been like to make the cuts for his albums. It must have been so difficult to have to cut masterpieces like this out. Especially knowing they’re never going to be released. All Michael’s songs were pure genius, and I’m seriously not being biased. I honestly think he’s the greatest composer/musician/artist ever. I don’t even think he realized the genius he had, because it was God given. There will never be another like him, nothing even close.
God Bless you MJ. So happy you’re in a better place away from pain and hate. You deserve paradise. Thank you Applehead.

Every era of MJ is fascinating because you get to see what songs were left off this shouldn’t been one of them. It’s like an opening track to a blockbuster smash hit. And with Michael Jackson there’s no telling what other songs in the MJ vault that could’ve been.

Greg Phillinganes. Such a great yet underrated performer. Had the pleasure of seeing him in Detroit with Stevie Wonder. I remember thinking: “this guy helped MJ make history, but almost no one knows”. Which is what makes the post-WW2 era so fascinating! So much talent everywhere, in so many forms! And here we are 35 years later surviving in a musical desert. The modernization and greediness of America’s music industry dismissed the importance of individual talents coming together to form a masterpiece. Music has become (for the most part) uniform and shallow. Je suis né en France and used to look up to MJ and the US as the Holy Grail. All I can do now is look back and lament on what the world has become. Politicians and dictators spreading hatred with little resistance from mainstream entertainers. Long gone are the days of the reign of Michael Jackson.
