In this series we are going to:

In this part 1, we are covering everything about the DIY concrete wall base, so mortaring in rock is easy peasy. Then we’ll show you how to build a stonewall using mortar, demonstrating the entire installation.

Personally, I like a flat ground backyard for max space, so doing it concrete from the house to the fence sounds good to me. Would have done a max height privacy fence, though.

Half the time, labor and materials if it would have been built with masonry bricks first since it’s going to be covered anyways.

"If this wall was finished concrete, i would have built it stronger. Since im sticking a couple thousand pounds of cheap manufactured stone on it, im not going to reinforce it as much"
