Great review, thanks Marc! Have an older version and was actually just thinking of looking at what the latest version looks like so this video came out at exactly the right time for me! As a viewer I don't mind you getting free shoes etc to test as long as you have freedom of speech and you don't only review stuff from one manufacturer as that could feel more like a sponsorship. YES... I always try to appreciate nature while I'm out running... such a joy!! I'm jealous you got some yellow ones!! I totally agree with you... yes they are great shoes and very comfortable and yet I just don't gravitate to them ... I definitely prefer the Hoka Cliftons. I got mine for around €90, which is really a bargain I think for the quality so I really oughta make an effort to get more kms done in them before I judge.

I think it's the V10 I have. Maybe it's the V11 - I can't recall. They served me well for a marathon recently, but i'm not really a fan. Unsure why, but they just don't feel fun all the time.

Not sure if you mentioned it but these come in a Narrow fitting if you prefer a tighter fit.

Actually the 8 hour work days are the ones I pick for my running time. The 10 to 12 hour days are bringing it down to feeling discouraged about getting out.

For me 1080v10 was very uncomfortable so I skipped this version as well! By the way, what jacket and pants are you wearing in this video if I'm not indiscreet? thanks

My first real running shoes were the 1080v10s and I've always had a love/hate relationship with them due to wrong fit (my fault). But now they're great for super short runs in the treadmill and I'm halfway considering picking up a pair in the RIGHT size on a discount. On the other hand, if they don't work AGAIN I'll feel pretty dumb lol.

A fair review Marc. Thanks for sharing your open and honest opinion. This shoe did appeal to me with the amount of cushion it offers. Not sure I can go back to larger drop shoes. After my shin issues last year I think I have got too used to the smaller drop of the hokas. So I am always apprehensive to change what I know works well for me. That colourway you have there is awesome I don't think I have seen that one before I am a big fan on a yellow shoe! 😎🤘🏻
