They way I see this video:

There is a man who is longing for his deceased wife (whom I assume has drowned), and her spirit/image continues to haunt the man, enticing him to commit suicide by walking into the ocean to join her. The little girl in the video reminds him of the child he could have had with her, a future daughter he had hoped for. Because he is still upset/guilty about her passing, he finally follows the phantom (shown wearing a wedding ring, and visibly present only some of the time in the video) into the water, drowning shortly afterward and alone. The whole song centers around "spiritual questions" & "Where will I go in the after life?"--- which here were most likely the thoughts of the man before his death.

TL; DR : Phantom wife lures living husband to join her in a watery grave. Good stuff.
