As a building inspector, I've seen way sketchier stuff that passed someone's inspection. I think get a co detector and let her wobble. Glad you are posting again

I'm waiting for the day when Carlos is cooking a pot of chicken stew on the stove in the chicken times. Keep on keepin' on Andy.

No matter what you figure it out. You’re the man Andy! I’ve done a lot of up to code “illegal” work on my house too and it works fine.

Andy, been following since the beginning of the FB days. I know the chicken house isn't done yet, but you should be so damn proud of its progress. Just thinking back on all the moving parts to get where it is now is impressive. The lumber you've cut, moved and milled yourself. The materials you've bartered for. The earthwork with an antique tractor. The MAN HOURS! with all else you have going on. Well done man. Just being you, you're an inspiration. I love following your journey.

Thank you for taking the time to post this video. At 70 years old, it took me all the way back to when I was 15 years old and my dad built beautiful A frame home home🏠 on 10 acres of land he bought. He bought an old John Deere tractor a brand new homelite chainsaw with an attachment for cutting boards from the trees he cut down in his woods. I distinctly remember the building of the first potbelly stove that he bought from a farmer selling it on the side of the road. The building process was nearly identical to yours and it lasted over 40 years. My dad is 90 years old. It’s still out there getting his walks in. Your videos mimic many of my dad‘s projects throughout his lifetime my best to you and your family from Buffalo, New York 🦬 I am honored to subscribe to your channel

I grew up with wood heat in an early 1970's singlewide mobile home in the 80's. It worked great most of the time, unless it was SEVERELY cold, we're talking -15, which was thankfully rare in Eastern Kentucky. I think your chickens will greatly appreciate that little stove. Many old country stores in our area had those old pot belly stoves that heated the entire store. Made a great place for the old timers to sit around, whittle, and tell stories back in the day. I miss that. Love your vids, bud. From one First Responder to another, be safe brother.

I'm absolutely in stitches. You made my day. I remember installing one of these in an old house with my mother. We didn't burn the house down and it worked just fine. Enjoy!

I am in the trades and was told the pipes actually get installed the opposite way (male end up) for wood burning stoves. The creosote will seal the joints between the pipes as it runs back down the pipe.

Andy I gotta say your content is really the only on YouTube that I take value from and try to use in my life. Always happy to see you post thank you brother.

Hey Andy. I just finished watching the video of when you blew the driveshaft up on the sawmill. I noticed how much happier you seemed when you were just doing your thing. Not worried about the “content”. Keep up the good work!

Andy, the algorithm gods on YouTube and Facebook are kind to me with your uploads! That said, I've liked and commented on literally every video, even if it was just to say God bless you.
I recommend that everyone that likes Andy does the same
