For all those who are getting confused with the comma placement in the number, here's a small explanation:

India, traditionally separates the digits in multiples of 100. Therefore the comma seperator fall after every two digits instead of three.

Aa per the Indian convention of digit grouping, 100, 000 (One hundred thousand) is written as 1, 00, 000 & read as One lakh.

Similarly 10, 000, 000 (ten million) is written as 1, 00, 00, 000 & read as One crore.

1, 00, 000, 10, 00, 000, 1, 00, 00, 000, 10, 00, 00, 000 & so forth (One lakh, Ten lakhs, One crore, 10 crore respectively).

Do look up where the positional decimal numeral system originated from.
