A top adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met with Zelenskyy in Kyiv. The White House and Pentagon have not confirmed the reports of the meeting taking place.

I'm happy that our government has stepped up a bit, and hope there's more aid headed their way. Maybe it's time for a naval battlegroup to say hi to our allies in Turkey. Just hang out, maybe conduct a few drills. The troops in the south would not move another inch north or east. Provocative, you betcha. But its time to stop worrying about what Putin might do, and start giving him instructions about what he will do.

Cease fire? Everybody talks about it as if that means anything. It doesn't. The only 'cease fire' that matters is when one side or the other is defeated on the battle field.
