If John became our president, there would be a flood of international investment and unbelievable economic growth and jobs created!
We can only dream of a non corrupt SA government that cares about the people.

The DA must just be careful when protesting too close to Luthuli House, it might collapse at any moment. That building looks like a health and safety nightmare.

Can’t listen further . The guest clearly said clarity of FEED IN tariffs is needed for entities to commit to huge CAPEX expenditure . The host then says “ you are not suggesting much different to the DA who are seeking to rescind the TARRIF INCREASE “ - really

DA is right by marching to ANC offices/ rulling party, because senior executives of escom are employed by the mineral and energy minister who is the senior member of the ruling party (ANC)

A golden opportunity for the DA. Let us know how the DA is going to solve the energy problem?

Just force government to lift the limit for IPPs. Eskom will go the same way as the SA Post Office or SAA. Private supplier will step up and fill the gap. This will bring competitive pricing and dry out the government's corrupt income streams.
No need to talk about nuclear plants which require a decade or more to plan and build. Aside from beeing green, the solar and wind solutions are decentral power sources. One being down means little to a fleet of turbines / pv fields. Just don't let the government limit their potential. If done correctly, locally the ability to build pv panels and wind generators can be supported. This will increase the product availability and reduce cost.
The reason why our government is against green energy is simply the fact that unlike coal, the sun and wind cannot be stolen.

They have no plan to fix this and it's fixable.

Simply love the DA's stance on this. As for the EFF's position, the DA leader is quite right. This will take ALL OF US (suspending hostilities and differences among our political parties/ideologies/beliefs may be the remedy now...or just the expedient thing to do). Lastly - we may not know or want to acknowledge this - but the ANC's governance can easily be likened to oppression, albeit of a somewhat 'milder' kind. From what I've seen and learned with our dark past - when you oppress people you risk UNITING them. Let's put aside our gripes and band together because once again - we have a common foe.

What "possible solutions"? The villiage idiots say they can fix it in 6-12 months. How come it took them 5-7 years to work that out? 🙈🙉🙊

Is there anyone investigating KW Miller, an American politician who has a Youtube channel called South Africa First. He puts out a video and/or message every few hours about the disaster awaiting South Africa, that a civil war is imminent and inevitable, and in his last video he even discourages farmers from preparing for crops in the coming year. Do we need him in our lives? He is extremely negative, and it seems he is targeting the white population.

Why can't all political parties come together to solve the eskom problems if they are working for the people.

Well done the ANC has single handedly travelled the road of doom and gloom!
