VIRUS - AMV/animation meme (FlipaClip and Procreate)

Since the year 2018 when I started animating, all I animated were head bobbing furries. This is my first attempt at animating humans and it’s the biggest project that I’ve done so far. It is also my entry for @grayscaleocelot ’s animation meme contest but it’s more of a AMV I guess since I used the full song and didn’t loop the animation.

I am not going to stop using Akira and I am not dropping the Roses and Sunflowers story that I want to make someday, I just wanted to create a new story and improve at drawing humans. This was completely out of my comfort zone but I really wanted to try something new and I am happy that I finished it. It was pain, fun, and stressful at the same time but I feel pretty proud of the result. I hate some of the parts but I didn’t have enough time to remake them so I hope that’s okay

I worked really hard on this and I will definitely take a break from big projects (after I finish the long PMV that I dropped so I could join this contest), but because I feel very unmotivated to make more long projects at the moment, I’ll make a couple animation memes or short AMV’s until I’ll feel determined to work on it again.

Also if you’re new, animation memes are not memes. I don’t know why they are called “memes”, they don’t have to be funny. They are usually short looped animations and people usually make them because it’s fun or because they want to improve at animating.

Wow, omg you really popped off on this one! I don't often comment on many videos but I just have to say that this is really amazing like, the story the characters the animations and the colors, there so much in here I could just gush about! I love love love how your getting out of your comfort zone and it really inspires me to do the same XD lmao. You really do deserve a break for this flippen 3 whole minutes of pure animation I just can't even-

AWRLY- I’m seriously speechless, this is stunning. Seriously you don’t even know how much I admire you. You’ve improved a lot in a short amount of time and you were even able to draw humans and fully animate a song with them, with a brand new story and you kept your motivation til the end?!1?1 Ive been so hyped for this for too long and I think I now won’t stop replaying it, seriously 😭😭✋✋my eyes are blessed.

For Awrly to help them and others understand why it’s called an ‘animation meme’: animation memes are animated ‘loops’ or shorts that are based of the song used to make them, *then they are spread around YouTube or anything similar and sort of copied (like an actual meme)* giving them the name ‘animation meme’.

I’m speechless. This is wonderful and well deserved content that I have just experienced. The OCs background and the style of it are incredible. I think this is motivation for a lot of animations to carry on and try to work for greatness! We are introduced into this dystopian world that takes my breathe away. You did a great job showing a dystopia and the robot dog reminds me a lot of the Mechanical Hound from Fahrenheit 451, which, if that was done on purpose, was an incredibly clever decision

This is just straight up impressive, I know firsthand how art flipaclip can be to navigate animation on, you went above and beyond not looping and straight up telling a beautiful story.
