I thought this was a great video to follow up on Seli with. This time using a wash (3 in total) over the whole model, makes for a much stronger contrast. I think the model looks dirtier (not necessarily in a bad way given the games theme), and stands out well at a distance, but less impressive when you hold it close to look it! Look forward to seeing all your choices on techniques on your heroes!

I know you like to contrast different styles to see the effect they have on the final model. Have you tried blending the style from Seli with the one Benson used on Rolf here? What I mean by that is base coating, then doing a rough highlight, then washing over that to tone it down. I still apply another highlight over that, but, have found that method really works on some models.
