No 'b base logarithm' key on the HP-15C. You have to do it by dividing by the base logarithm value. Or, to ease multiple use of this missing feature, by typing a short user's program. In fact that why these specific calculator is programmable:
First create the little B-Log code : g[P/R] f[LBL][ B ] g[LOG] [R/S] g[LOG] [ ÷ ] g[P/R].
Then to compute Log_5(15625) : [ 1 ][ 5 ][ 6 ][ 2 ][ 5 ] f[ B ] [ 5 ] [R/S] display
To compute Log(25) may whatever you prefer; the standard keystroke: [ 2 ][ 5 ] g[LOG] or your new program : [ 2 ][ 5 ] f[ B ] because both key-sequences display the same (expected) result 1.39794
