I bought the ti-30x pro MathPrint with high hopes. I’ve found I use my Casio fx-991EX more though. It can do up to 4 equations for solving unknowns and for vectors where the TI can only do 3.

I've just ordered from a reseller that TI indicated me by email a Ti 30X PRO that features all the things that the Plus version doesn't have. I'm in Italy. i30X Plus is better and newer than Ti36X but can't calculate integrals and derivates

I just got a 30X Plus MathPrint. I can't see why it's not available in the US since the US is a TI country. It's more functional than the 36XPro.

I think the reason why their calculators are faster in Europe is because they have stronger competition there

Casio is the most popular manufacturer of calculators here in Asia, and my fx-991EX classwiz did that calculation in 4.5 seconds which is 2x faster than the TI-30X Plus while being $10 cheaper than the TI-36X.

Now I get why a lot of Americans hates TI's monopoly on calculators lol

Casio does the same thing. Casio sells its better calculators in Europe and leaves us here in the U.S. with fewer options. I bought a TI-30 MathPrint PRO from the UK and it is also a more capable machine than the 36X PRO. There are ways to get a hold of these better machines through special Websites. However, you have to pay for it. My TI-30 MathPrint PRO was $40 instead of $20 which you pay for the 36X PRO.

The early calculators that are Toshiba T4X based _might_ be overclockable.

The early TI-30XIIS are overclockable. I have a video on my main channel.

I like the TI-30X Pro View and should be sold in the United States.

TI can't get rid of ASM programs on either calculator!

TI 30X plus is NOT the TI 36x. Is very similar, but lacks of some functions. The TI 30X Pro is the right one (sold in Italy, switzerland, Germany, ...). Ibfon t know why Texas sell some products here and others there

Ok but the TI-36X pro was released in 2011 while the TI-30X pro MathPrint was released in 2018... This is almost like comparing the TI-81 to the TI-83 plus

TI-83 Premium CE is better than the TI-84 Plus CE
TI-Nspire CX II-T is better than the TI-Nspire CX II
European calculators always seem to be better :(

Still, I'm very excited about the TI-30X Pro MathPrint since I'm going off to college next year for engineering and won't be able to use my HP Prime on tests anymore. Very nice to see TI actually technologically ahead and innovating with calculators for once in my lifetime. Hopefully, they are also working on an upgrade for the TI-84 series, although I highly doubt it.
