Holy Communion: Do YOU Receive Jesus the RIGHT Way? How to Receive Eucharistic Lord With Reverence?

There has been a lot of debate and heated conversation concerning how the Eucharist is to be received: in the Hand v/s on the tongue. To decipher this correctly, we need to first understand What the Holy Eucharist IS, the Eucharistic Lord's unimaginable sanctity and Holiness. The rest of the conclusions can logically be derived from this, The major problem with Catholics of today is their lack of comprehension of this marvellous gift of the Eucharist! Dr. Plinio, a traditional Catholic, faithful to the traditional Catholic Doctrine on the Most Holy Eucharist teaches us with the aid of St. Ignatius of Loyola how we are to receive Jesus.
Saint Paul in his first letter to the Corinthians warns us whoever therefore eats the Bread and drinks the Cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty in profaning the Body and Blood of the Lord. Let a man examine himself and so eat of the Bread and drink of the Cup, for anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the Body eats and drinks judgment upon himself, that is why many of you are weak and ill and some have died.

Three fundamental steps in preparing for Holy Communion:
* Free ourselves from mortal sins we have committed since our last good Confession
* Detachment from all creatures driving from our heart everything that is not of God and for God.
* The desire to receive Our Lord Jesus Christ with the view of loving Him more.

Thanksgiving after receiving Holy Communion consists of four parts:
* An act of adoration, where we adore the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in us.
* An act of reparation, where we offer the Holy Communion received in reparation for all the sins committed against the Sacred Heart of Jesus
* An act of thanksgiving, where we thank God for all the benefits received from His hands.
* An act of supplication. Here we ask for specially for our spiritual needs - our conversion, our sanctification and all other spiritual requirements

St. Paul says in his letter to the Philippians: "at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Phil 2:10-11)
If this holds true for the Most Holy Name of Jesus, it is much more true in the Case of the Eucharist, where it is JESUS Himself!!!
I really cannot understand what stops a person from adoring Our Lord and receiving Him reverently if not the fallen angels themselves! He descends for our sake, and we cannot go down on our knees and receive so precious a Gift - a Food - on our tongue?!

What an edifying video and what profound comments of Dr. Plinio about the Holy Eucharist! Dr. Plinio was truly a Prophet for our modern and troubled times! I think it's time for ALL CATHOLICS to get down on their knees and start receiving Our Lord Jesus Christ truly present in the most Holy Eucharist with His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity on their tongues only!
