This is the best acting lesson I have ever seen in my entire career. You can spend thousand of dollars to get a degree and tons of lessons but this one video has no match. I can vividly see the years of experience Wendy. What a phenomenal work. Outstanding ! More Powers to you Wendy. Love and respect from Pakistan. I am a fan.

The time you spend doubting yourself and wondering if you’re good enough for this world is a waste of the time you’ve been given on this world.

I’m telling you stop it right now. Just stop.

You’ll never be perfect, you don’t need to be. You’ll never be like anyone else, you don’t need to be.
You will never stop fucking up or make mistakes. You are human. That’s what we do.
And we learn, we grow and we do a little better every day. Stop expecting yourself to be some sort of image of perfection. It doesn’t exist.

Your flaws, your tears, your temper, your insecurities, your heartbreak…it makes you interesting. Your joys, quirks, your passion, your enthusiasm…it makes you interesting.

You’re human…It makes you interesting. Stop hiding it.

Share it and shout it from the rooftops with pride. You will never exist again. Don’t you fucking get that?

Being a good actor is no joke. You have to dive so deep into your internal thoughts that it can ruin your mental and have you on a double edged coin

Hi Wendy 👋 We are currently doing the emotions in acting through improvisation and the importance of it in acting. When I had to come on stage with my colleague actor, I was given extreem happiness and he had to play sadness. We had to keep the emotion believable on during 20minutes. It was so much fun doing it. We both succeeded in doing it and the best thing (for me) was not the good critics, but the fact that everyone had to see a part of me :)

I have taken some acting classes, but YOU are the first person that truly helped me understand how to get into character, and you made it sound so simple!! I went through every emotion with you! I can't wait to start my journal. THANK YOU!

Omg‼️I laughed and cried throughout this entire video😂😢 Such real life examples made for true understanding of truthful portrayal of emotions. Hilarious delivery on some of the examples as well as so sad, but much needed to paint that picture in my head of what needs done and how to do it! Thank you❤

All good info. It's merely being able to emote on cue, it's called practicing. So you can bring it up (turn it on or off) at any time you want. Of course it's nice to have a well written script that helps. But you may have to do this a dozen times (coverage) on camera. It's called technique, so stay in a legit class until you can do this on cue over and over again. Also be able to do ALL of these emotions at levels from 1-10.

Omg Wendy, I have the same circumstance with my 86 yr old dad and the same feelings about animals… so glad I found your videos. I’m 56 and decided I want to pursue my passion for acting. You are giving me inspiration! Also I love that you said “one time in band camp” 👏🏻👏🏻

Whenever I see your face, my heart fills with happiness. You have this je ne sais quoi, a feel-good charisma, Wendy. And I am crazy about your hair; it has so much personality! I love you.

Hey Wendy, I love how you let your emotions out and remind us of the potential within each of us to let these emotions shine through. You're such a wonderful ball of energy and emotion and I love this video. I have always been somewhat shy which has led me to your channel to look for ways to act to avoid hiding my emotions so much in regular life, so thank you so much for making these videos.

When I want to emote happiness I think of music or my cat because those things make me feel happy. When I watch the news and see stories about the war, people dying, children dying, that makes me feel sad and also angry that there is injustice in this world, when I see stories on the news about natural disasters like earthquakes, that makes me feel sad for all those people who lost their lives. I recited an antiwar poem in the first week of May at an open mic night and I could barely get through saying some of the words because the injustice in the world makes me feel so sad. I love the idea of an emotional journal! I'm going to try practicing that!

Bless you for creating this video for us and being strong enough to be vulnerable and open to demonstrate the art of acting. I've been watching you for YRS .. finally got my agent and you still have so much wisdom to offer.
Thank you, love you. Stay strong ❤

Thank you very much for this succinct, authentic, and passionate information. Thinking is simple, but truly feeling can be complex until the practice is executed.
