What the hell? What is Don afraid of, you Rick Beato are going to steal all the Eagles fans away? Or reduce the sales of his band's records by highlighting their songs and making potential fans aware of their music? It makes no sense to me! Is Don upset that getting 100% of any possible monetization you get for your time and effort to promote his music at no cost is just not enough? I think the Eagles are one of the greatest bands ever and I am saddened to find that Don is such a tight assed selfish person.

Last concert I went to was Chick Corea at a very small venue in St Louis, Jazz at the Bistro. I had a small dinner and he walked out and shook our hands...Much differant than then the Pop Stars..In movie Almost Famous..Phillip Seymour Hoffman character said, the wealthy businessmen will kill all we loved about Rock n Roll..

Don Henley is worth $250 million... Is he going to be worth less if "his" music is shared far and wide? What about that tape recording I made off the radio when I was a kid... Is he going to take issue with that? I mean, I didn't pay for it. As time passes, because he locked his music away in a vault, and stomped on everyone who could have shared it with the younger generations, stomped on those who want to teach guitar, stomped on fans who may have never heard the music, his music will fade into the memory hole. Will he be satisfied with that? Hey Don, you can't take it with you when you go.. It was a gift to the world. You should embrace that, and reap the rewards for the rest of your time on earth.
