This version rocks big time. They never did this too much better. They can't do it like this today. This was tight and that's because of The Late Mr. Charlie Watts. R.I.P. Wembley Whammer

Man that sax guy in the groove, he's brilliant, never seen him before, usually uses Keyes or watts

4:25 wish they showed more of Woodys hands jamming. And how about Charlie keeps smiling throughout this whole jam. Love ya Charlie. What a drummer he was. Cool as the other side of the pillow

Cool solo, Ronnie is a great slide player, you have to move song up.

I saw her today at the reception
A glass of wine in her hand
I knew she was gonna meet her connection
At her feet was footloose man

You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometimes, well you just might find
You get what you need

I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
Singin' we're gonna vent our frustration
If we don't we're gonna blow a 50-amp fuse
Sing it to me

I went down to the Chelsea drug store
To get your prescription filled
I was standin' in line with Mr. Jimmy
A man did he look pretty ill

We decided that we would have a soda
My favorite flavor, cherry red
I sung my song to Mr. Jimmy
Yeah, and he said one word to me, and that was "dead"
I said to him

I saw her today at the reception
In her glass was a bleeding man
She was practiced at the art of deception
Well I could tell by her blood-stained hands

Ronnie on this tour and previous ones was brilliant! He was on fire not like the disaster he is now.
The black saxophone player please 🙏 shut up! It's an unnecessary saturation 😓

I’ve always liked this song. Ronny decides to slide on the guitar during the song. First of all I would never do that. The sound that he was making are horrible. He totally trashed the song. He went overboard.

This version seems a touch overblown. There is certainly too much saxophone, and Ronnie's guitar solo isn't great. I like the 1972-73 live versions best.
