Why Were So Many Prophets Wrong About The 2020 Election?

Jeremiah Johnson, Pat Robertson, Kat Kerr - just a small number of the many prophets who proclaimed Trump would win the 2020 election.

How should the church deal with these false prophecies? I discuss this question with Pastor John Carosiello of Testing The Prophets and Austin Roberts.

church era offices are to function within the plurality of leadership with in the local church. meaning with in the office of pastor or teacher or prophet all working to gather to bring acountability and balance.

when the apostle paul said he wished all would prophecy, he wasnt saying we are all prophets or we can all be prophets. today so many think that if they prophecy they are a prophet. nope. study the word prophecy in the greek. and then study the prophet in the greek they are not the same thing

imho, much of the problem has to do with what i call the law of locality. each and every leadership office in the church was local except the apostle/missonary. can a pastor from down the street walk into the next church down the street and demonstrate his same authority? nope. notice pauls example setting leaders in place in each locality. the use of internet violates that precept. secondly if one does a study of how paul functioned he never taught doctrine if there was a possibility of a non believer there. his message was then evangilistic in nature. another reason why locality is so important is each local assembly is in a diffrant stage of growth, all the interweb teachers and pastors and so called prophets, violate the precept that teaching doctrine to unbelevers will produce good friut. but instead, chaos as they { the unbeliever }can not understand the things of god because his spirit does not dwell in them, thus putting the cart before the horse so to speak. when any leader thinks he called to do any work outside his local church it should only be evanglistic in nature, secondly when they believe they are called to do anything diffrent than that they are violating biblical precept for the reach of their office . notice paul submitting to peter while in jeruselem. when a teacher pastor or prophet elder decon goes out side their local church and operates in their office things will go wrong. the only leadership offices with an expression outside the local assembly are the founding apostle.
paul had authority to speak to every church he founded but he also established local leadership, and also the evangilist/missionary has authority outside the local assembly as they are sent out from that local assembly. but their mission is strictly winning souls for christ not doctrine. most importantly notice Jesus in revelations he adressed 7 churches each in a different locality, each had diffrent issues. something very important to learned there. we could fo on to adress locality further in addressing the term principalities. basically means governs a or is prince over a cirtian region or locality. but ill save that for you t ponder on you own

prophets can " miss it"? nope the lords standard is the same today as it was in the old testament. the teaching that a church era prophet can be wrong is error. that would mean that the prophetic revelations of christ return are now in question, or for that matter the rapture and all that jhon paul and others wrote about. the church era prophet is soley bringing his people back to the fathers direction and order for each local expression of the church.

I have yet to seen a prophet in 64 years of looking. I see a lot of prophets guessers. If they are wrong they are not a prophet. I'm tired of these so called prophets saying, "I am a New Testament prophet, meaning they can be wrong and it is ok because I am homing my skills." It is not a skill. it is a gift from God. As of this date I see NO ONE with this gift. I hope to live long enough to see and real prophets.

one must do a study of the word prophecy prophecies prophets ect in its original language as used in the new testament. they are not the same as the office of the prophet. the failure to rightly devide the word and just listening to the so called prophets who of course teach in a pro self position has done much damage

if you think what johnson did was repentance and humility i am concerned for your. he just admitted he was caught. noting more and has continued on doing what he always did. i do hope that is not the type of repentance you practice.

How do you know the prophets of God are wrong. Noah was telling people for 120 years the floods coming. They laughed at him like you are... How'd that turn out.. lots of people like you had to learn to swim fast.

tell me how this video brings honor and glory to jesus? who gave you the authority to bring the churches dirty laundry out in to the public? im have no doubt you mean well but are misguided. none of you know these false prophets personally. what you are doing here is noting more than gossip looking in to the affairs of others. that is forbiden. it feeds the problem not cures it

"They [the prophets] were wrong..." I suspect all the people in Noah's day said the same time: "Noah is wrong! It is not going to rain." And they probably said it for a hundred or so years...right up to the day it began to rain - proving Noah was right and they were all wrong.

Therefore, who are you to say "the prophets were wrong?" Maybe you are wrong, and God has not yet made His move. Why not believe in the prophets and prosper, and wait for God in faith? It is not over until its over, and that would be months from now. If Biden finishes out his 4 years, THEN you can say the prophets missed it and were wrong.
