What i do is i like thermal to modulate to the sidechain signal it is put on. I set the first knob just to normaly go up everytime the guitar would play and the second to go down in inverse algorythem sidechain.(so it goes down everytime the guitar hits)or vise versa. Works wonders on arps and basses.

That vibrato is way to much. You should always adjust your presets to the sound you have in hand or its never going to sound right
