Thanks. I just purchased the MSR Windburner Duo. Recommendation from an REI rep. They a great sale on them. Only weighs about a 1/2oz more than the Windburner. Love how everything fits in to the cup fuel tank and all.

What about the classic MSR whisperlite? Advantages: works at -40 up here in Alaska, runs on most liquid fuels, simple, adjustable flame, easy to repair, lasts a lifetime, etc. Most canister stoves do not work well at -20 to -40 temps.

Can you use the pocket rocket stoves with the rector pot in case the reactor stove fails in the field?

Are any of the stoves better on fuel than the other, given they were all cooking at a high temperature or flame. Does the style make any more efficient t than the other?
