Can you blame Japan for not wanting their trains to look like New York or Chicago. So disrespectful

This behavior is a cancer on society. Can we collectively agree, that we are DONE being emotionally manipulated into accepting it?

No shame, no respect, no class...but they would be the first to demand respect from others.

I am half Japanese and this really ticks me off. Japan does not allow this behavior from its own citizens and these self-absorbed thugs are trampling all over Japan’s hospitality. I hope Japan bans these people from ever visiting again.

If social media stopped monetizing these kinds of videos, most of this would go away.

Japan should be more strict with rude tourists.

I'm English and white. I went to Japan. A highly respectful and quiet nation. This behaviour would be outrageous. We see this in London and I hate it.

As an American, I am ashamed that these young people are "representing" us across the world. SO DISRESPECTFUL.

I am getting second-hand embarrassment, not as a black person, but as a decent human being. People in general shouldn't be doing this, period.

They're humiliating all Americans too.
The rest of us get tainted with a poor reputation because of these fools.

I am Japanese. In Japan, there is a rule that people should stay quiet and considerate toward other people in public. We are even expected not to answer our phones while on a train to be polite to others. It isn't acceptable to be dancing in trains harassing people. Japan isn't NY.

Torii gates at Shinto shrines are sacred to us Japanese, and we don't like foreigners disrespecting our religion. What they are doing is equivalent to someone dancing obnoxiously inside a church.

We don't mind foreigners coming into our country if they follow our rules and respect our culture. However, we are getting fed up with selfish, inconsiderate, and obnoxious streamers, causing many problems in Japan.

We are also angry at those foreigners who vandalized our temples and shrines by curving their names on centuries-old gates and pillars. Japan isn't a theme park. Our temples and shrines are not movie sets you can damage and curve your names into. There was even an American man in his 60s who got arrested only a couple of days ago in Japan because he curved his last name on a pillar of a Torii gate at the Meiji shrine in Tokyo.

If you can not respect our culture and follow the rules while you are in our country, please don't come to Japan.

I know that some people might react negatively toward my comment, but we, the Japanese, have the right to lay out the rules and expect foreigners to act respectfully while they are in our country. We have the right to protect our country and culture.

"Just cause you *can* do something, doesn't mean you should." Too bad their parents were too absent to teach them that.

I'm half black, and some black people have been embarrassing black people for quite awhile now.
