I was so happy with that update i changed all my templates since i use this feature in way more areas than project management. The moment they add "automatically creates new tasks" added to this feature, their task management possibilities will be everything I want. Right now all it does if you add tasks to the template is that it automatically assigns the task to the new project. The goal is being able to check it done only in that project so they'd have to "duplicate" the tasks every time you create a new db entry through that template.

This is pretty nifty. I would use this for agendas and meetings--as in, every time I create a new meeting agenda for X meeting, it will automatically bring up the projects and tasks that are associated with X group.

I'm pretty sure I have exactly that use case right now with buy and sell Share trades being made one step easier.

BTW, there is a question which you might know how to answer.
I do have the main inbox, where I clip all the notes.
Also, I use a structure which separates this main inbox into different notebooks, as a linked DB's.
Just was wondering is it possible somehow to create a relation links to these separated (separately filtered) notebooks?
Not only the main "root" inbox.

I have been trying to understand the excitement regarding this update, but i am not able to.
What i understood from various sources is that, it reduces a lot of manual input, but i cannot figure it out .
I read the example you told about the “biology module”, but couldn’t get the hang of it .
Could you explain it in detail or refer me to a source to understand this?

Hi Danny - is it possible to (self) reference a date within a linked database template? - i want to set up a linked datatbase within my journal in order to log calls received each day - i want to have a template button which automatically brings in the date of the journal page (not necessarily just using @today) - Thanks for the great channel - Geoff

How do I keep the fields in the same order in the linked database? Each time I make a different template with the same linked database the field order changes

I know this is an old video but I have created and recreated this and on mine the task table auto populates the "client" but the client table does not auto populate the "task" in the relation property. Is there something I leaving out. Should it not add all tasks created inside a client to the task relation property.
