I have an AEG oven and have replaced the halogen light recently and while doing that noticed that the bulb cover is cracked. I was wondering if the bulb and the bulb cover are considered accessories and should be removed during the pyrolytic cleaning or not. Oven light bulbs are generally rated at 300 C degrees and I'm also wondering whether the bulb cover was designed to withstand the high temperatures of a pyrolytic cycle or mine got cracked because I didn't consider it as an accessory and did not remove it.

I have checked the manual and a few videos but non of them touched this detail so I'd be grateful to have an official answer.

What is the main reason for removing the shelf supports please? I've started the Pyro mode but have left them in.

Can someone advise if the grill part of the oven should be on while in the cleaning cycle. My oven was repaired by AEG and the repairer said it was to ensure the oven became sufficiently hot. I'm not convinced as I've never noticed it being on before the repair.
