Works well folks. I make tenons in different ways. Hammer and chisel as god intended. Rockler beadlock. And now this. I get it, festool is faster etc.

That depends on what you’re doing. If you’re bringing the piece to the tool. This crushes it. I had to make multiple octagon shelves. Which, is 16 miter cuts that have to join together. Once this was set up for repeatability. The mortises were cut in about 15 seconds. Flip the board. 15 seconds. Set up next one 15 seconds. Repeat repeat repeat.

I actually had more problems remembers to reset the pocket mill more than anything else. But using a run of the mill Dewalt drill and going into poplar. White oak and I believe I tinkered around with cherry. I had zero issues. The first entry isn’t perfect and it scuffs the piece a little. However the second pass is a perfect mortise and so on. Is this an issue. No. I’m jointing that section and no one will ever see it unless this failed.

Dialing it in is also easy. Super quick Allen key twist.

How it works when I have to bring this to the piece. I’ll let you know. But the milling station is a must. So factor that in.

But if you are building small things. This works wonderfully.

If you already have a Domino, how is this useful? I do see how angled would be easier, those require some skill with a domino machine.
