In this video I cover everything there is to know about the extra free $600 weekly unemployment benefit that you can receive from your state reemployment assistance on top of the standard unemployment insurance that is also available to you during this time. This is all funded by the stimulus package through the CARES Act due to the effects from the coronavirus breakout. So in essence, if approved you will receive the $600 a week benefit plus the unemployment insurance amount which varies from state to state.

I don't know who told you you needed to make $3, 400 on a quarterly basis... First, that is up to each state - and second, that only applies to the basic state unemployment. The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance allows you to qualify if you DON'T meet the income requirements or work history length of the state program.

Hey my friend said his former employer filed for him and he has gotten three payments up until May 8th and haven't been compensated for the last two weeks. Is there a possibility that they stopped it and has to reapply on his own or you think it could be a backed up faulty system?

Also my brother was part time working 16 hrs a week now he only working 4hrs can he apply for unemployment?
