My computer hardware can do ray tracing without RTX cards, for example my monitor reflects my room when it has black screen, my Cabinet's glass can reflect my monitor's as well as room's lights and so on.

Wish I could’ve tried RTX/DLSS during the Cold War beta my 2080S got shit on hardcore at 4K but 1440P it was pushing well over 100FPS maxed with the software RT on except the glitch where it wouldn’t let me do high quality reflections 🌝 Game looks great but will look even better with hardware RT and DLSS to fix 4K issues especially with my memory 8GB is getting a little low 😢

Seems to me like the settings without RT look extra bad on purpose. Usually devs try to implement effects similar to RT, but in this it looks like they simply made the game to look bad without by leaving effects we used to use out.
