Unsurprisingly, YouTube denied my monetization appeal. Since I do have enough subs and watch time, what type of content you guys suggest I make.

Sisyphus in greek mythology: Why did i deserve this?
Sisyphus in Ultrakill: *since my punishment ended, i guess i need to have fun somehow, pissing off heaven might a good way to start. But i need an army...*

I love the difference between the sands of tide and requiem motifs. Requiem has this underlying sadness to it fitting for minos's character, a man who feels he had failed his people time and time again and suffered a tragic fate because of his mistakes, the combination of the violin and choir emphasizing both his greatness as a king and the tragedy he suffered.

With the sands of tide leitmotif there is no such somber tone, sisyphus doesn't regret a single thing he did in life or in the afterlife because he takes constant joy in his rebellion against the inevitable. The motif rises with the trumpet then peaks with that guitar riff, then repeats, mirroring sisyphus's punishment of rolling a rock up a hill only for it to fall once it reaches the top. Yet even despite this torturous fate, the motif remains aggressive and almost upbeat, showing that regardless of the constant grueling repetition, sisyphus was still happy.

ik minos will probably always remain more loved by the community, but god damn man you can’t help but respect tf out of sisyphus’ sheer charisma. he is unapologetically cool af

- Dies and sent to hell
- Forced to push boulder up a mountain
- gets bored and raises an army of husks to fight heaven
- gets executed by gabriel and the angels
- dies and his soul becomes so powerful it has to be locked in a prison of flesh, hidden behind several locked doors and hundreds of powerful demons, angels and husks
- Hears gunshots outside his prison, rips his own prison open
- "you killed minos, you seem cracked, come on square up"
- proceeds to annhiliate the demon slaying machine for god knows how long
- finally dies
- "well, life was shit, absolutley loved it, regret nothing"
- dies laughing to himself

Minos with Requiem leitmotif: Regret, sadness, desperation
Sisyphus with the Sands of Tide leitmotif: I regret nothing.

Man even the drums sound like each defiant step inching towards the inevitable futility of Sisyphus’s struggle, while the main melody and subtle death odyssey in the background shows a complete lack of regret on the part of Sisyphus.

Probably not as good or iconic as the requiem leitmotif imo but it still goes hard as nails. 10/10

It took me a good while notice the Sands Of Tide leitmotif, it's much more subtle, the Requiem motif in ORDER it's easily noticeable by the melody, but in WAR we only hear the harmony, who makes it a little bit hard to notice if you don't listen it very well

I remember listening to fanmade P-2 ost's and ngl, Sand of tides carried those too and this also the case.

The Sands of Tide Is strong and aggresive, showing that sisyphus does not regret anything, not even by a bit
