I live in ALVIN, TX and I was 3 miles to the right of the eye of Beryl when it came through, just looking at this makes my TRAVEL TRAILER start shaking again.

I hate to say this, but it's true. If there's a place that can handle a hurricane on the Gulf, it's between New Orleans and Houston. It's for the most part barren and empty except for a few trailers and fish camps, which are pretty used to storms by now.
