I came here and even dressed as Coraline, animators were walking around and they interveiwed me and asked what I thought of the museum, it was so much fun and if yiur an artsy person the museum is definitely for you and ai would recommend it.

Why am I just now seeing this?! :"( I adore animation and seeing the elements of its process would have been a dream, especially the passion and determination of stop-motion.

Had the honor of seeing this exhibit while it was here in Portland. I was like a kid on Christmas morning I was so happy. The fact I could see the characters I loved right in front of me felt so surreal especially the giant skeleton and the other garden. I got a Kubo jacket I still wear to this day and a Coraline doll I have creepily stand on my bookshelf on top of countless pictures.

LAIKA is one of my favorite animation companies even though they have a small number of movies and not much recognition. Stop-motion is a lost media of animation that needs to be recognized as the beautiful method it is.

I’m an animation major and I’ve been thinking about which medium to do into 2D, 3D or Stop motion. My favorite movie of all time since it came out is coralline. I’ve seen that movie more than 498 times. I respect and appreciate all your work and I even teared up watching this. It’s so inspiring and my heart is set on stop motion, thank you.
