I had a chance to play this with a guitarist- a very, very good classically trained one. I gave him the piano accompaniment and he just started playing with me off of it. We got a chance to perform it and he started it out with a very Flamenco style guitar introduction. The crowd went absolutely wild! It captured the mood so well I think they were expecting the rodeo bull to come out any minute. Its an expression of what the rodeo is all about: gentemanly elegance and courage in the face of danger, beauty and pain, loss and....It's just such a classy and wonderful beautiful piece. It's like a musical bon bon.

questo bellissimo brano si può ascoltare solo nella versione per violino, perchè non con altri strumenti? Mi riferisco in particolare all'armonica cromatica con la quale ne uscirebbe una versione molto appropriata. Perchè nessuno ci ha mai provato? Forse per la difficoltà di eseguire diverse battute consecutive in "aspirato" al limite dell'asfissia? Qualcuno mi può rispondere? Sono in difficoltà.
