Chief on how IMPD connected ride-share driver to missing woman's killing

IMPD Chief Chris Bailey is discussing how Indianapolis police connected a 29-year-old ride-share driver to the death of a missing Indianapolis woman.

These rideshares are not safe for single females. Sharing your location is not going to save you! Its too late by then, him being quickly caught will not keep you from being dead. Get a friend or family to pick you up or just stay home.

I am so sorry for the victim’s family, and know they have suffered a huge loss. My prayers are with them.

Should be very safe.. never take a ride that just shows up.. only the driver on the app.. never take a ride with a new driver.. carry protection..

Scary for women. These app creators MUST add some sort of emergency button press that can be used in a situation such as this. I believe these apps will be sued big time as a result of these murders.

A woman/girl should NEVER use ride shares alone. Similar to going to a public restroom alone💯 Mace, taser, boxcutter and legal knife/gun(>25 hours of training)🫡
