You can take used carpet, put trim on and make area rugs. Shelters, fosters always need pet cages.

Watch out about picking up furniture off the Streets of your city because it could be infected with Cockroches and or bedbugs ....no matter on how much you deep clean it the bedbugs still remain on it

Im sure you have your own ways... But I'm my own experience, there's nothing better than the good ole sun to kill, kill, kill EVERYTHING!! That couch looks so cool, im not one for couches on the curb usually but theres always those rare times. I would find a giant sheet of plastic and just cover it, completely of course. As if you just put it in a bag lol, then seal it. Most importantly, seal it! Give it a day or two in direct sunlight and then finish the rest of my process. I love people who make use of perfectly good stuff people throw away. Im absolutely astounded as to the stuff, excuse me TREASURES I have found! Good luck all, and be SAFE!!

When you are getting furniture that others have disgarded, always examine it for bed bugs. It would be terrible to end up with an infestation at your home
