Danish here: This kind of bathroom is really common thing in Copenhagen, even if the bathroom is bigger. Just curtain and shower part. In some places, you can find literally the toilet (which is like 2m2) and above it- the shower part. The good thing is that everything can be wet. About the sweets, it is just shape of fish which usually sells the liquorice candies and it does not refer to the taste. Liquorice candy is salty (it is salmiak salt) but the dominant taste is bitterness because of this special salt. Marabou is swedish, not danish:)
