How is Netflix's F1 Drive to Survive filmed? I thought I would take you behind the scenes into the F1 Netflix show and show you what you might expect to see in Formula 1 Drive to Survive season 7. The 2025 F1 Drive to Survive series will release on Friday, March 7, 2025 and I, along with many of you will be quite excited to watch it, because if it's anything like the F1 Netflix trailer we should be in for some great F1 behind the scenes action!

DTS is the reason i started following f1. lights out is typically 6-8am here so it was going to take a lot for me to be up at that time on sun morning. Theyve done an excellent job with it.

My only problem with DTS is that it embellishes too much and tries to make everything dramatic. It just gets boring and you can tell its for a predominantly US audience who want drama, drama & drama. Just tell the story how it is with the editing, don't make drama up, some of us have longer attention spans. I think DTS would be near perfect at that point, as sometimes the storylines are a silly as Eastenders!

DTS25 has so many stories v other years. 2023 had no driver changes.No new drivers. 2024 saw sackings and the perez saga, lewis announce his ferrari deal, sackings. A competitive battle for drivers and constructors, the horner saga, comings and goings for staff like newey, Loads of material. A F1 movie nobody showed...cant wait as it means the season start is here

as someone who has been around F1 for nearly 40 years, DTS (for me), is tv at its worst. people new to the sport tend to expect what they see with the netflix show to be what they see live at the track, which just doesnt happen! i can honestly say that i watched a little over half of the first series and that was enough for me to know where every next episode was going. yes, its brought new viewers to the sport which is fantastic. but with the way the sport is going, what with the FIA treating the drivers like children, and all the stupid rules that have been brought in, those new viewers will end up replacing the older fans as we walk away from a sport that has been a huge part or our lives for so many
