How to Use VirtualBox (Beginners Guide)

In a recent video in the “Free Software” series, I showed you VirtualBox, which is a free and open source solution to be able to run other operating systems virtually on your PC. In this beginner’s guide, I will show you how to set-up and use VirtualBox. In addition, I’ll also show you how to install and run Ubuntu, which is one of the most popular of the Linux distributions.

For people who dont understand the "Erase Disk and Install" option, it does not mean your actual PC's hard disk. Remember that this window contains the Linux OS installation, and is not linked with your PC. Remember that we put the optical disk as the installation. that is what it means.

Wow this is everything an explorer geek would want to test things out! This can be so much fun to see what is out there. My question would be, will virtual box allow more than one operating system at a time to be installed? (thus selecting between one operating system from another) I'm really glad that the Tech Gumbo crowd got behind this request but, REALLY happy that you listened and did not hesitate to make a video.
