I’m an old metal head. I’m 52. Yeah, crusty. But I try to stay current and listen to what the youngsters are gettin into as well. I discovered this band 4-5 albums back. They kick major ass. Especially this iteration. Liked getting mauled by a Minotaur for 2 min. The only thing I wish these type bands had was a few guitar solos here and there. I’m a little old school in that sense. But nonetheless Emmure is badass.🤘🏻👊🏻

Josh and Frankie are insane together.. this album is 10/10. This song is my favorite, those slams and dissonance from Josh are ON POINT. This isn't the old Emmure, this is a whole new beast.

I'm still trying to understand why people don't get the concept of rhythm taking the place of complex chords and melodies. People always jump on these threads talking about "0000 11 etc, as if they don't hear the complex rhythmic patterns being played in perfect unison between three different instruments, and the talent that requires. Not to mention how raw that shit sounds. You can tell a lot of metal heads have a lacking sense of rhythm, and that's why they hate on deathcore and breakdown heavy songs. I'll take this over some overly complex prog shit any day. But it's funny because Josh Travis can do that shit too. It's just not the style of this band. Bang your fucking head and stop overthinking the shit.
