The Old Chapel, Thornton

Here are the ruins of St James's Church where the Bronte children worshipped and were baptised (their dad Patrick was the parson.) When the church across the road was built this one fell into decay. The Bronte family lived nearby in Thornton village for about five years before moving to Haworth parsonage.
