Jenny and Jim Desmond are parents to an unusual and very large family – over twenty orphaned baby chimpanzees. Their home in Liberia is rapidly becoming too small for this rambunctious troop of animals, so they’re building a sanctuary in the forest. But before the babies can move out, they need to learn how to live like wild chimps. They need to attend a baby chimp school.

Seriously though, I really like the message of this video. We usually see how cute they are but we don't think about the story behind it. These babies were violently taken from their parents and I'm glad this video brings awareness to that.

Remember Koko the gorilla? When she was able to sign language, she could tell that she remembered very vividly how her mother was murdered.
