Octal Addition gives explanation of how to do addition of octal number or how to add two octal number and how to add multiple octal number. the beginning of the video gives a detail explanation of octal addition and binary addition. first using an example of binary addition the simple logic of addition two number is presented and then using the same logic how to do addition of octal number or how to add octal number that has been explained. Once the basic of octal addition is explained in detail then after an example of octal addition is taken. here the detail of octal addition is explains using octal addition example. here i am adding two octal number and explaining the process of octal addition. i have presented two methods to do octal addition. the entire octal addition is being explained using both the method and then it is left for viewers to chose which method they preferred the most. method one of octal addition give the real logical explanation of how to do octal addition, where as method 2 give a short trick to perform octal addition quickly and easily without any confusion. so this section of octal addition gives a detail idea about how to add two octal numbers. after this section is over the next section is how to add multiple octal numbers. here in this section i have taken example of adding three octal numbers together. the entire explanation of these octal addition is also explained using two method of octal addition. the one with real logic explanation and the other one with quick calculation. at the end of the video i have provided two example for the self practice of learners.

So to do octal addition you have to do decimal addition then translate it to octal? This is like if I was speaking English then translated to another language. This works but is slow. But what if I just thought in the other language? How do I "think" in octal? That would be faster. Is there a method 3?
