Small wheels are great to learn on for the reasons you mentioned but when price is factored in there may be deals if a person can wait for Black Friday when sellers typically blow out older models. I picked up a V12 Pro for $999. It goes just over 34mph before I get beeps, has a big battery, decent power, and Bluetooth speakers. No doubt a small wheel like this Begode will shorten the learning curve for a newbie.

Thanks Jimmy! I was looking at the MTen5 as my next wheel as I wanted a light, water-resistant wheel that I could throw in my gym locker. The Future is just a bit too slow for me as I wanted something that could go at least 20mph. I rode my MTen3 in the 18-22mph range when I had that wheel. I ended up getting an Inmotion v9 as I really liked the feature set and don't need an ultra fast wheel since I already have a Master and may get an F22 Pro or Begode Panther later this year. I also got the v9 since I wanted to try another brand besides Gotway/Begode. The V9 is a very cool, relatively inexpensive suspension wheel that ticks all my important boxes and the UL rating is an underrated feature. As someone who had a scooter catch fire in my garage I can appreciate proper battery precautions. The v9 is only 10lbs heavier at 50lbs which is super easy to handle especially with its magnificent trolley handle and lift switch combination.

my empty weight is 70 kg. what pressure will be the minimum allowable for good cushioning and without a strong risk of damaging the rim. 1.5 is possible? or do I need at least 2.0 ?

This one is great, looks amazing for a small practical wheel like that, water resist! fat tire! everything I would want for small commutes, but no trolley completely kills it for me :( I dont want to have to walk a few meters and have to carry it or be all crouched up.

I’m not sure if you got to ride an A2, but I think you would have liked it too. Approximately the same size, still very durable, and a little bit faster. It’s a nice commuter and you can find it discounted for about the same price
