That dc power adapter seems to have an audio plug connector fitted, never seen one of them used for that purpose before, they are usually used to carry audio/data only.

Oh my god! My one didn’t have an adapter!
Mind you, that probably just made it easer for me to pull apart and fix so it would actually sew 😂.... heads up, unless you can use a soldering iron and know how a chain stitch machine should work, do not attempt that.
